As a Maryland family and pet photographer, capturing your family’s special moments is at the heart of what I do. With that said, I recognize that sometimes capturing memories can come with the heaviness of a tough time. When Victoria reached out to ask if I would capture her family in light of her sweet pup’s terminal illness, I couldn’t have been more on board. I know how important every single photo is when dealing with loss and am honored for the opportunity to capture families at such pivotal moments.
This Rockville session took place at one of my favorite spring locations just as the Kwanzaan cherry blossoms were starting their bloom. I absolutely love spring sessions and am so looking forward to winter being over!

These sweet sibling pups did such an amazing job in front of the camera!

I love that we took a few moments to capture some beautiful shots of Victoria as well!

I am regularly asked if I am comfortable with dogs at sessions. My answer is always a resounding “YES!” As a pet owner myself (our sweet kitten, Luna), I understand just how much our furry friends are an important part of our families. As long as a location permits it and your pup can be safe in a public place and with me we are totally good to go!

This year, I want to cater to my clients with furry friends by offering mini sessions portraits for pets. These are perfect for families who want a beautiful image of their dog to frame in their home or who are facing a diagnosis. Be sure to reach out today to learn more!
