My style focuses on you. I don't use fancy props or poses, I just aim to capture you and your family in a way that is real and pure. The love between a couple, baby details, the crazy toddler years, and beyond - my goal is to capture the memories will be treasured for generations to come.

I am primarily a natural light photographer that only uses external lighting sources for select studio sessions and birth photography as needed. I focus on a variety of techniques to create the best lighting in a variety of scenarios, both indoors and outdoors. My goal is for photos to be light, soft, colorful, and classic.

The events of the last several years have created additional considerations when looking for the right photographer to capture your most precious memories. LOCATION
The timing and location of your session have such a big impact on the feel of your photographs. You can be laid back at home, or full glam on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and anything in between. Your portraits should reflect your personal style and the time in your life that you are wanting to capture.
waRDROBE STYLING
Even more than the location of your session, wardrobe styling is EVERYTHING! I have so many tips and tricks to ensure that you are not only comfortable, but that your photos reflect the best version of yourself. I am here to offer guidance - if you want it - on styling. I also have a few beautiful pieces available in my client wardrobe!
The SEssion
I get it. Being in front of the camera can be daunting and uncomfortable. As a professional photographer I am here to guide you through poses and help ensure that you feel comfortable throughout your session. Being photographed is more than photos - it is an experience. It is my goal that your experience with me is as special as the photos themselves!
DELIVERY
For most sessions I offer a sneak peak of a handful of photos within 24-48 hours. Once the rest of your gallery is complete, your curated, professionally edited photos are delivered via an online gallery. From here you can download high resolution photos as well as web-sized versions of your photos that are optimized for posting to social media. Here you can also share your gallery, select favorites, and place orders.
KEEPSAKES
Digital prints are great, but having tangible keepsakes from your session makes for heirlooms that last a lifetime. Professional quality and fine art prints, albums, custom framed portraits, canvases, etc. are a beautiful addition to your session and even make great gifts.
Cherished Memories
I cherish each and every one of my clients and hope that you walk away from your session loving your photos and experience. I'm thrilled to now call many of my clients friends now and so enjoy photographing their families from year to year!

WHAT TO WEAR
I help my clients nail down every detail of their session, including styling. Part of your custom experience includes consults prior to your session to define and execute your vision. Typically, I steer clients towards neutral colors, clean lines, and timeless designs. Can't find something to wear or don't want to buy a gown just for our session? Ask me about my client wardrobe!
For the Littles
Simple styles in light colors are also beautiful for the little ones and help keep the focus on your beautiful child, the emotions we are capturing, and the ever so quickly changing details about them. And guess what? I also have swaddles, bows, and simple clothing in the client wardrobe for the littlest clients!
FOR THE GUYS
Styling help isn't limited to the ladies and littles! I am happy to help pull together looks for the guys too. I have lots of inspiration photos and guidance that can help tie together a cohesive look and pull your ideal vision together.

Alexia is so amazing. She responds very quickly to questions and was so flexible with us when our scheduled delivery date changed. Our some needed some medical treatment at the time that she came for our photo session and she did an amazing job getting great photos even with a restricted time frame. I can't recommend her highly enough for family photography. She is so compassionate and pleasant to work with. She also got our photos back to us very quickly and brought such a cool sign with out baby's birth details to photograph!
