As a photographer that always does annual Maryland fall mini sessions, I am so excited to share one of my favorite families. It is always such an honor to be asked to photograph their beautiful family! This is one of my favorite locations for mini sessions because it provides such a variety of beautiful backdrops. From nature to architecture and florals, each season of the year is a wonder to behold in this timeless spot. When families choose to do sessions at a location they have been to in previous years I try to make extra effort to include photos in spots that we didn’t use in their previous sessions. I think we accomplished that beautifully here!

I love how stunning mama Hilary always dresses in more holiday themes for these portraits! Last years sessions was similarly an ode to the time of year! And could her gorgeous girls be any more adorable in their coordinated Hope & Henry and Jack and Janie dresses?!

Maryland Fall Mini Sessions

It is almost mini session season! As a Maryland fall mini session photographer, I encourage all of my clients to do two things:

1. Sign up for my newsletter to be the first to be notified about mini sessions. I only open a certain number of slots on select days! Newsletter subscribers get a couple of days head start in filling available slots. After that point openings will become available to Instagram and Facebook followers.

2. Book full and mini sessions during the fall season as soon as they are available. Towards the mid November I will stop adding additional sessions to focus on wrapping up business for the year.
