As a Maryland maternity photographer, it is so exciting when all the pieces of a vision come together to make timeless, beautiful photos. Paulino and Adriana were an absolute dream to photograph – they were so sweet and loving with each other! This stunning Great Falls location is also one of my absolute favorites. The light, the scenery, the calm… it makes for the perfect location if you are willing to take on a little bit of a walk. So worth it in my opinion!

This mama chose to borrow a couple of dresses from the ABP client wardrobe for her session. These white Vici Dolls and Sew Trendy dresses were stunning on her! White gives such a classic feel to any maternity session, keeping the focus on mama. I love photographing a very wide range of colors, but emphasize that you have to take into consideration the location and “feel” of the photos when making a decision. Neutrals typically photograph best, allowing for creaming skin tones and a focus on YOU versus your clothes. When I say neutrals, I think most people thing whites and creams. Really this can look like browns, light pink, light blue, taupe – even black! I really just suggest staying away from very bright colors like bright orange, red, and yellow, which can cause a color caste to reflect on the skin!
