As a Washington DC mini session photographer, nothing makes me happier than clients who trust me year after year with photographing their families. I absolutely love catching up and watching your babies grow. It is such a special part of the job and I hold the importance of capturing these memories very close to my heart. This beautiful family has invited me to photograph them since their sweet boy was just a toddler! Now he is a big boy and it is another reminder that time is so fleeting!
I was thrilled when they chose one of my favorite DC locations! I can’t wait to shoot here again later this year when it opens up following renovations. The classic columns that are so distinctly DC make such a classic and clean backdrop. Plus it is away from the hustle and bustle of the monuments to give calm atmosphere for your session.
We lucked out with the most beautiful extended fall this past season. The weather and lighting was gorgeous! I loved that we still got so much green on the trees with a hint of fall colors! The streets below were filled with DC traffic – can you tell? I am always very conscious of our surroundings to make sure the focus of your photos are YOU and not distractions in the background.
