I was so excited when Kelly reached out to me to capture some photos for her pregnancy announcement. Anytime I get to shoots something outside of the usual, I am thrilled! We chose the stunning Meadowlark Botanical Gardens for the backdrop to their photos and it didn’t disappoint. They didn’t allow sunset sessions, but we were able to strategically maneuver around crowds and utilize the beautiful spring daylight. Kelly’s pretty lilac dress was perfect against the blooming magnolia trees!

This gorgeous mama brought the cutest props to the session, including ultrasound photos, baby shoes, and a custom onesie. Other ideas could be family heirloom items or for couples who did IVF, a photo of your embryo. I actually did that idea myself when I had my own maternity photos taken while pregnant with Milo!
