As a Maryland cake smash photographer, I love the creativity involved with planning and executing cake smashes for my clients. Sweet Artha’s milestone cake smash session was so special! Between her the memorable family photos during her session that included her favorite uncle and the beautiful setup for her cake smash, this session was perfection from start to finish. I often talk about the ideal time for sessions being before sunset. As a mama, I know it can be hard to do sessions at sunset, but this session is a perfect example of how it can often go way better than you expect with little ones and how truly beautiful the even, glowy light can be.
Cake smash sessions are the most unique sessions I offer as they are completely customized to each client. We work together to build out your vision, starting with brainstorming a theme and ending with the day-of setup. I can be as full service or hands off as you wish to match your individual needs. The Perfect Fit
As a Maryland cake smash photographer, I’m often asked where to find sitter outfits for cake smash sessions and the answer might surprise you. Hands down, Amazon has the best options! They are gorgeous, inexpensive, and usually ship quickly! I have beautiful vendors for sitter sessions up to ages 5 or 6, but many of these are very pricey and I recommend reserving them for sessions where cake may not be involved.
