As a DC baby photographer, nothing makes me happier than capturing the most precious times in your lives. Fresh 48s have a special place in my heart because there is something so unique about being there during the very first days of a new life. There is so much joy, so much love, and capturing it on camera is such a gift.
Baby Barrett’s parents invited me to photograph his Fresh 48 session following their maternity photos. He was so sweet and calm during his session! And how cute is his little bison swaddle? You can find it here!
In case we ever cross paths for a Fresh 48 session in the future, one thing you should know is that I will walk into your room any take care of everything. I will tidy the room, move food trays, even move couches and chairs if necessary to make things perfect. You don’t have to do a thing other than be present!
His perfect little profile!
The most loving parents!
Fresh 48s have been on the back burner as hospital rules changed and safety a bit in question, but I hope to return to these sessions one day! They are filled with so much genuine emotion and capture all of the tiny details that are so fleeting. They were always a favorite of mine and I miss them so much!
If you are a bit weary of hiring a Fresh 48 photographer right now, I put together a blog post just for you. Check out how to photograph your baby without one, which can be found here!
