I am so excited to share that I am now a member of a beautiful studio space in Alexandria, VA! The evolution into a formal studio space has been a long time in the making, and I am so looking forward to the art that will be created here as a DC studio newborn photographer.

As a DC studio newborn photographer, I love creating timeless art through photography that captures your family’s memories in a true and simple way. What I love about the studio is that it is truly a blank canvas. Whether for maternity, newborn/baby, family, or cake smash sessions, it is a private, neutral space that allows you and your loved ones to truly be the focus. You also have a private space to change into your outfit (or outfits), various furniture options, and I also bring both a Moses basket and posing bean bag to all newborn sessions.

I shot Jennifer’s gorgeous maternity session down in DC before her little one arrived and will be sharing that soon, but I was so excited to share this timeless studio session! Her baby boy was a DREAM to photograph. This laid back newborn session just made my heart so full! And this mama is just effortlessly stunning! I love how flowy this baby blue dress was on her! Perfectly chosen from the ABP client wardrobe!

Since I have primarily shot outside in recent years, the studio provides a beautiful, peaceful environment to create magic in. We can control the conditions allowing me to shoot newborns and other sessions year-round in this space without any worries of some of the extreme temperature swings we can experience in the DMV. Your comfort and experience is so important to me!
